AI use policy
Where artificial intelligence is and is not used in producing this website.
Last updated 4 September 2026 · Draft for legal review before launch
Being clear about this is cheaper than being asked about it later.
Where AI may be used
- Suggesting captions, tags and alt text for photographs — always reviewed and rewritten by a person before publication.
- Copy editing: grammar, consistency and structure suggestions on text Dhruv has written.
- Drafting routine technical material such as metadata and code.
Where it is not used
- Generating the substance of an essay, opinion or personal story. Those are Dhruv’s, in his voice, or they do not run.
- Producing photographs, or altering them to depict something that did not happen.
- Automated face recognition, location inference from images, or classifying people by sensitive characteristics.
- Answering visitors as though it were Dhruv. If a question-answering assistant is ever added, it will be clearly labelled as not human, restricted to published content, will show its sources, and will not give legal advice.
Attribution
If a piece was substantially produced with AI assistance, it says so on the piece.
These policies are drafts prepared for review by qualified Indian counsel. They describe how this site is intended to operate, and should be confirmed — and where necessary amended — before launch.
