This is the record behind everything else on the site. If a number appears anywhere here, it appears below too — with whose it is, where it came from, and when it was last checked.
Working in intellectual property and being casual about provenance would be an odd combination, so the site is built the other way round: the ledger comes first and the copy follows it. A target is never written as an achievement. A figure the team earned is never written as one I earned alone.
The documents behind these entries — odometer photographs, service records, certificates, contracts — stay private. What is public is the figure, the method, and how solid the evidence is.
