Twenty-five thousand frames,
opened a chapter at a time
I have about 25,000 photographs (evidence: Stated by Dhruv, evidence being collected) sitting unpublished. This section exists to let them out properly rather than quickly.
An archive emptied all at once is not an archive, it is a hard drive with a web address. So this starts with about fifty photographs, chosen and put in an order. After that they come out in chapters — a theme, a note about what you are looking at, and a date range.

Rules of the archive
How I handle the archive
- Originals stay in private storage. Only web-sized versions are served here.
- Precise GPS coordinates are stripped from every public file.
- If you are recognisable in a frame, there is a consent record for it. For children, a stricter one.
- Number plates, documents and private property are blurred or excluded on request.
- Rights status is recorded per image: owned, licensed, permission pending, restricted, or do not publish.
- Alt text is written by a person. Machine suggestions may start it; a human finishes it.
- If you want a photograph of you taken down, it comes down first and we talk after.
